Failover Policies

Policies control when and how failover triggers.

Available Policies​

  • Detection: 60-90 seconds
  • Best balance of speed and false-positive prevention

Tolerant​

  • Detection: 120-180 seconds
  • More tolerant of temporary issues
  • Good for unstable networks

Policy Settings​

  • Detection threshold: How many failed checks before failover
  • Replication lag tolerance: Maximum acceptable lag

Manual Override​

You can always:

  • Trigger manual failover from dashboard
  • Pause automatic failover temporarily
